Kathryn E. Hepner passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at her home in Enola.  She was preceded in death and now reunited with her beloved mother, Donna G. She was born in Butler, PA on April 1, 1963.  After graduation from Butler High School, she completed her BS degree in math computer science at Slippery Rock University of PA.  During her teaching career at Central Pennsylvania College, she also earned her MBA Accounting degree from Mount St. Mary’s University.  Earlier in her career Kathy was very active in drum corps for General Butler Vagabonds, Steel City Ambassadors, West Shore Men, Reading Buccaneers and she also taught several high school bands

Her hobbies included reading, music, and all things Star Trek.  But her first love was all Pittsburgh teams – Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.

She laughed, she loved, she played music, she taught, she lived and then she left.

A memorial gathering will be held in mid-January to celebrate her life, details to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to East Pennsboro Ambulance Services at 750 South Humer Street, Enola, PA 17025.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Hepner family.
